The supply chain directorate is the focal point for all matters related to the upstream oil and gas supply chain and its strategic role in delivering a sustainable and world class capability for the UKCS. A focus on continuing business improvement and meeting the ongoing supply chain challenges is managed through the highly successful Supply Chain Forum. Existing activities include improving the use of FPAL (First Point Assessment Ltd) and standard contracts, promoting compliance with the Supply Chain Code of Practice, the development of new contractor forums incorporating the wider supply chain members and demonstrating the wider value delivered through a variety of ongoing forum projects.
