Dr Hans Temmink
Dr. Temmink has been an associate professor at the Agricultural University Wageningen, Division of Toxicology since 1979. His research experience is mainly related to in vitro studies on toxicity mechanisms (nephrotoxicity) and in vivo studies on aquatic toxicology (heavy metal toxicity to fish).
Dr. Temmink has served on a number of Task Groups of the International Programme on Chemical Safety (WHO-IPCS) for environmental risk assessment of heavy metals and pesticides. He lectures in toxicology at the graduate level and serves as national coordinator of the Postgraduate Education in Toxicology programme.
Dr. Temmink has been a board member of the Netherlands Society of Toxicology and presently he is a board member of EUROTOX.
