AFEN
The Atlantic Frontier Environmental Network (AFEN) is an innovative grouping of oil and gas companies and UK Government departments which aims to ensure sound management and regulation of oil and gas activities in the Atlantic Frontier.
Since 1995, investment of considerable resources has enabled AFEN to plug gaps in environmental knowledge of the Atlantic Frontier through many studies and research initiatives. This collaboration has allowed wide area surveys of a scale far in excess of that which could be achieved by any individual company and has greatly increased understanding of potential environmental sensitivities to oil and gas operations.
