Graham Elgie
Graham Elgie joined Oil & Gas UK as Director of Finance and Corporate Services in January 2008. He has responsibility for the management of the organisation’s support functions, specifically in delivering quality financial reporting and accounting control, along with efficient systems and processes for IT, HR and Facilities Management.
With over ten years experience in the UK and International upstream oil and gas industry and over twenty years experience in energy related sectors, prior to joining Oil & Gas UK, Graham was Chief Accountant for African Arabian Petroleum Limited, with activities focused in North and West Africa. He spent six years with Burlington Resources in a number of roles across the finance department, predominantly as Senior Accountant with responsibility for all financial matters in the North West Europe group. His early career was in the electricity sector with Northern Electric plc, before moving into the oil and gas sector with CalEnergy Gas.
Graham is a qualified accountant through the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, qualifying in 1998 and becoming a fellow in 2003.
